Considering I only remember 93 Octane becoming available in the past 6 years or so, when the Z's were released in the early 90, 89 era, there was only 83 & 87 Octane being sold at the pumps right>? In this case, wouldn't 87 have been premium at that time? meaning that 87 octane by todays standard would be "correct" for my 90 Z? I know this sounds crazy and I wouldn't run it now, but if you think about it, isn't that what most early Z's were running on anyway, so why would it hurt to use it now?
